New at Pixi Beauty Spring 2015

Spring is one of my favourite times for new beauty releases. Why? Well they come thick and fast meaning that there is always something exiting to share and I happen to be a huge fan of pretty pastels hues which again are plentiful. One brand with a good few new releases on route is Pixi Beauty featuring both new make-up and skin care additions to their already expansive line up.

Pixi Glow Mist £15
This will be the launch that will have most excited, a new sister product to the already cult Pixi Glow Tonic. Pixi Glow Mist is a somewhat compact mist that has been formulated to create a glowing, luminous and smooth complexion. It has been enriched with 13 natural oils along with propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts. This smells utterly delicious and delivers a super fine mist that is nourishing and instantly hydrating not to mention cooling. It can be used as a moisturising primer before make-up, after make-up for an additional glow and to set or throughout the day to further hydrate the skin. I can see this becoming an essential come the warmer weather, once my skin calms down (acne) I will fully test this and update with a full review.

Pixi Fairy Dusts £10
In a nutshell? Pretty, loose eyeshadow powders that are well pigmented and a dream to blend. I am not a huge fan of the foam applicator but then again I don't have the best eye shape so that may be partly to blame. Each shade is multi-dimensional, metallic and brightening. The Pixi Fairy Dusts can be sheered out with a fluffy blending brush, applied in layers for a more intense finish and dampened for a truly metallic finish. I am currently testing the formula out as I type this and can say that I am suitably impressed - we are in the sixth hour and it still looks as fresh as when I first applied. Keep an eye out for a full review in the coming days.

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in Lucent Glow £12
Not necessarily a new product but perfect for the Spring or those who would rather skip a tint of colour on their lips in favour of a natural yet plumping effect that is moisturising and glossy. I have reviewed this in full in the past here - link and still stick by the description that it is a highlighter for the lips. It can be worn alone or with other lip shades.
