New Melvita Lip Balms for 2015

I have so many blog posts to publish but being the over grown child that I am, I spent most of last night frolicking in the snow. I say frolicking when really it involved me making snow angels, building a snow man and then waking up with a horrid cold. Apparently our parents weren't telling us to wrap up warm in the snow just for the giggles. Who knew? Anyway I am now running a horrid temperature, felling yucky and to boot I have chapped lips. The order of the day is soup and plenty of lip balm, speaking of which two new Melvita Lip Balms have just launched...

New Melvita Lip Balms for 2015

There are two new Melvita Lip Balms to choose from, which just launched on the 12th of January : Repairing and Moisturising both of which come in lipstick style packaging - great for quick and easy use, not to mention utterly hygienic. I was kindly sent the Melvita Repairing Lip Balm which has been formulated for dry, chapped lips to naturally heal and repair. The main ingredient is beeswax along with castor oil and sunflower oil to create a soft, lightweight balm that glides on to even the driest lips providing instant relief and hydration.

As someone who loathes anything honey scented I am surprised to say that I rather like the light, natural fragrance. Scent aside the texture and ingredient line up is impressive - not a hint of petroleum in sight with mostly organic and natural additions. From the first use my lips feel soft, soothed and although it provides a barrier against the elements it is in no way heavy or sticky. Yes I do think £8 is pretty steep for a lip balm but this is one of the best I have tried in a long while.

You can find both of the new Melvita Lip Balms via Melvita for £8 each - link.
