"British fragrance brand Jo Malone London has announced the launch of its limited edition Rock The Ages collection, available from March 2015. The line aims to capture defining eras of British history in scent, taking inspiration from each period's drama and character."
Lily of the Valley and Ivy is inspired by the Georgian era with notes of green ivy, pink grapefruit and sparkling black currant. Doesn't this sound lovely? I adore anything Lily scents so I imagine this will be right up my alley.
Pomegranate Noir captures Victorian Britain using pomegranate, Casablanca lily and guaiac wood for a dramatic and intense fragrance. This is of course part of Jo Malone's permanent collection but the packaging is of course limited edition. I personally will forgo this in favour of a few of the limited edition scents.
Geranium and Verbena is Edwardian-inspired and uses verbena and geranium for a crisp, clean and herbaceous feel.
Birch and Black Pepper aims to evoke modern Britain with a contrasting combination of black pepper and smoky birch. This is the scent that I am most excited to test!
The Jo Malone Rock The Ages colognes will come in 30ml sizes and will retail at £42 each.
