Lush the Kiss Lip Scrub

As someone with constantly chapped lips - a less that appetising combination of being  a serial lip biter and the currently cold weather, I do think I'd be a little lost without a lip scrub. A few years ago I would of said (and most likely did) that the Lush Scrubs are vastly over priced as essentially they are a blend of  caster sugar, coconut milk and coconut oil - probably the reason why it tastes so delicious. However I have tried a good few lips scrubs and very few compare nor last as long.

Lush lip scrubs are not only sweetly scented and flavoured (yes you can lick them off your lips should you wish) but are key for keeping my lips free from dry and dead skin. To apply you simply dip your finger in the pot and gently buff it over the lips surface. If you have particularity dry and/or sensitive lips to make the scrub less abrasive you can apply a layer of lip balm before application. From the first use your lips will not only look flake free but feel better and in some instances appear to be plumper. To lock in moisture after exfoliating your lips, I recommend following up with an application of  lip balm.

The newest (well it is actually a re-promote) lip scrub to join Lush's lip line up is - Lush the Kiss. I own a good few Lush Lip Scrubs but this may be my favourites scent/taste to date. Both Lush The Kiss products (there is also a gloss) are sugary, sweet and reminiscent of sherbet (or Love Heart sweets) in scent. Lush the Kiss Lip Scrub also contains little edible hearts and real sprinkles which truthfully are more gimmicky than purposeful but cute none the less. Now I have no excuse to be spotted with chapped lips...
