A new and truly beautiful collection from Bobbi Brown has just landed both online and on counters as a matter of days ago, if like myself you tend to gravitate towards neutral shades then this is a collective you won't want to miss. Think sheer washes of brightening colour for the lips, cheeks and eyes teamed with groomed brows and you have Bobbi Brown Illuminating Nudes Collection. I was kindly sent a few pieces from said line up and here is what I think...
Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow in Golden Peach (31) £23
You already be familiar with Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadows as the formula is not a new addition and often found in Bobbi Brown palettes. However just for the Bobbi Brown Illuminating Nudes Collection two new limited edition shades have been created: Golden Peach and White Sand. If you have blue or green eyes trust me when I say you need Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow in Golden Peach. A warm toned, orange tinged copper hue that makes blue eyes seem brighter and more blue in appearance. Do not be put off by the "sparkle" aspect it really isn't all that glitter based a formula and more akin with your typical metallic formulated eyeshadow. A soft, easy to blend formula that applies fairly sheer but can be applied in layers to increase colour intensity. Yes it does contain tiny glitter particles but they brighten and uplift the eye area rather than appearing gaudy. Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow in Golden Peach reminds me a lot of MAC Amber Lights in colour but due to the sheer quality it is a lot easier to wear - especially if you are not a fan of bold eyeshadow. In terms of wear with a primer this stays put for at least six hours before creasing and/or fading.

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Almost Nude (11) £18.50
My favourite thing about Bobbi Brown Lip Glosses is the minty scent, I realise that is pretty bizarre and not really enough reason to warrant a purchase. If you are looking for a suit every occasion lip gloss look no further than Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Almost Nude - a super subtle, milky nude that doesn't disperse a whole lot of pigment on to the lips but rather works with your natural lip colour to create a parred down wash of colour. Such shade not only gives the illusion of plumper, fuller lips. moisturises and can be applied over any lipstick you desire to tone down the overall effect. Yes this is a fairly sticky lipgloss but on the plus side it does stay put longer than most other glosses out there.

Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper and Hair Touch Up £16
Again not a new formulation but rather the addition of two new shades: Slate and Saddle for Brunettes. The idea behind this creme-gel formula is that it not only fills in sparse areas but shapes and tames the brow hair. Personally I rather like that it doesn't dry hard (nothing worse than crispy brows) yet offers great control. It doesn't flake, smudge, smear or run should it rain and the colour range is exceptionally natural. I have the shade Brunette which is a mid toned, cool ashen brown which should suit most light to mid toned brunettes. If you like an easy to slick on brow product that pretty much does it all in one quick move this is the product for you.

Bobbi Brown Illuminating Nudes Collection is a great collection to find new, hard working staples be it for the office or everyday wear. This is the kind of range that makes me fall in love with Bobbi Brown all over again.
