Here is what is happening within the beauty world at the moment...
I realise I spoke about the newest DKNY fragrances yesterday but here is a little more information - "DKNY has announced the launch of Delicious Delights, a new limited edition collection of three fragrances launching for spring, inspired by sweet sorbet treats. Fruity Rooty contains a cocktail of blackberry and mandarin infused with blackcurrant, candied apple, rose petals and violet flower, while orris is blended with vanilla and musk. Dreamsicle Relish opens with mandarin, raspberry and blackcurrant, contains notes of green apple, blended with peach nectar and apricot sorbet as well as cedarwood, sandalwood and vanilla. Cool Swirl Escape is a tropical blend that begins with blackcurrant notes, violet leaves and coconut water. Magnolia and jasmine notes mix with pistachio sorbet, while nuances of heliotrope, musk and patchouli are at the base. All three fragrances from the DKNY Delicious Delights collection are packaged in frosted glass bottles that showcase the purple, orange and green tinted juices." They will launch in March and cost £37 each. I for one can not wait for them to launch, don't they sound beautiful?
A bath and body campaign with a difference - Bath, body and beauty brand I Love… has announced the launch of its Peachy Passionfruit collection, which is free from parabens and contains natural fruit extracts and shea butter, as well as vitamin B5. The collection includes: Bubble Bath & Shower Créme, Nourishing Body Butter and Refreshing Body Spritzer. Additionally, I Love… has collaborated with breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! to launch a limited edition Perfectly Peachy Bath & Shower Créme as part of the charity's #SHOWERHIJACK campaign. The product will be exclusive to Boots and launch on the 22nd of February (Peachy Passionfruit) and the 23rd of March (limited edition Perfectly Peachy)Prices: £2.99-£4.99.
New GOSH nail polishes touch down on the 11th of February - GOSH Cosmetics has announced the launch of its SS15 Nail Lacquer collection. Offering fast-drying formulas, the new range comprises seven on-trend shades including: Snow White, Pretty Ballerina, Sunkissed, Apple Blossom, Sea Foam, French Dream (pictured above) and Moroccan Night. They will cost £3.99 each.
A new kit that will launch exclusively on Cult Beauty - Therapie Roques O'Neil has announced the launch of The Heal Me Kit, featuring a selection of comforting and healing remedies for depleted defences, designed to boost immune system and avoid illness. Products have been created to help users breath and sleep better, as well as calming symptoms like achy muscles. The kit comprises products including: Protect Bath and Body Oil, Comfort Warming Rub, Strength Tea and Pure Candle. This will launch on the 3rd of February and cost £46.
Hitting counters soon is a new face palette from Bobbi Brown. The Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Palette, a 4-in-1 face palette that contains all you need to conceal, cover, highlight, brighten, set and contour. There seems to be a good few of this type of palette launching this year. Contouring is going nowhere in 2015 only the approach is more subtle. Think light, cream textures opposed to powders.
