Do you have plans to smooch a certain someone under the mistletoe? Probably not as I think mistletoe is banned from most office parties these days, there's always someone who has to ruin it for everyone ha! Jokes aside Winter does take its toll on not just the skin but also the lips, the combination of bad weather and central heating leaves my lips more often than not chapped and flaky. Lovely! Never fear there are two deliciously scented and pocket friendly solutions from Lush.
First up we have my favourite Lush Lip Scrub ever - Lush Santa's Lip Scrub (£5.50), a cola scented, sugar based lip scrub that is both effective and dare I say it delicious. I'm not sure if Red Kola is something that is available out with Scotland (I did mention it once to an English friend and was greeted by a blank look) but this is exactly what Lush Santa's Lip Scrub both smells and tastes like. Yes I taste tested it, feel free to judge me. The great thing about Lush Lip Scrubs are that they are so gentle but do leave the lips feeling and looking noticeably softer. Ingredients include caster sugar, coconut milk and coconut oil - probably the reason it tastes so delicious.
What could be more festive than a red pout? Well a red nose but let's face it that is far less chic. If like myself you would rather skip traditional lipstick in favour of a little moisture then perhaps you would be interested in Lush Santa Baby Lip Tint (£5.95). Again this is cola scented - who doesn't somewhat associate cola with Christmas (holiday's are coming) and is essentially a tinted lip balm. A hydrating base of shea butter with lots of other essential oils to keep the lips kissabl soft while being tinted with a bright, festive red hue. The great thing about this product hydration aside is that you can easily control the overall tint - a quick slick gives a muted hint of a tint and two coats provides a beautiful, cheery red shade. A great all round lip product that slots perfectly into a coat pocket ready for when you need it most.

These products are adorable! As someone who has a cola addiction I need to see if these are out here in the US!

These both sound incredible but I was definitely surprised by the cola flavour! From the packaging I expected them to be candy cane flavoured.

I am kicking myself for not picking these up when I was in lush this weekend! I too am suffering the plight of dry lips - my Baby Lips hasn't left my side since October!
