The packaging of the Zoeva Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Palette reminds me a lot of Stila Into the Light Eyeshadow palette - a slick, compact and cardboard packaging style. It is light in weight, fairly robust and ideal for travel in more ways than one - the weight and size of course contribute as does the vast shade variety on offer. I like that the pans of eyeshadow inside the palette are fairly large which always helps when using large, fluffy blending brushes.

As you can see the Zoeva Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Palette is of course a neutral eyeshadow palette of sorts, I like that there is muted eyeshadows combined with subtle pops of colour. Off the bat I am going to state that out of the ten eyeshadows inside only one is matte - the rest are highly pigmented, metallic offerings which may not be to everyone's taste. If you are a fan of such finish then you are in for a treat, the texture is finely milled resulting in a super soft, easy to apply and blend eyeshadow. There is next to no fall out, the colour pay off is intense and frankly beautiful, if teamed with a primer the wear time is on par with brands such as MAC et al - a good eight hours of true wear. I did mention above that the Zoeva Mixed Metals Eyeshadow Palette contains some dupes of somewhat famous eyeshadows, below is a shade breakdown of all 10 shades.

Alloy - a lilac tinged mauve, not worlds apart from MAC Satin Taupe but this is by far more pigmented.
Neo Brass - a light, golden olive green, an antiqued gold by any other name. MAC Scrumptious Olive is the eyeshadow that comes to mind in terms of comparison shades.
Bronce - very similar to Neo Brass in tone, only this leans more green than golden and is deeper in tone. I would compare this to MAC Green Smoke in some aspects.
Rusty Steel - a warm and deep red toned bronze, a close dupe to MAC Antiqued eyeshadow.
Copper Plate - does this look familiar? Yep this deep rusty, copper eyeshadow is almost identical to MAC Coppering eyeshadow.
Warm Silver - not at all a silver tone, rather a warm and slightly pink toned ivory. It somewhat reminds me of MAC Ricepaper but only when applied - not in pan form.
Platinum - a light, slightly lilac toned silver come grey, somewhat similar to MAC Patina.
Orestone - a bright yet deep turquoise blue, perhaps teal is the best way to describe this shade. I have no outright dupes but MAC Shimmermoss is similar but lighter.
Aluminium - a deep, cool toned grey/silver.
Onyx - a true black eyeshadow that is matte.

All in all a beautiful palette that contains well formulated eyeshadows that are of great quality for less than £15. It is easy to see why so many are raving about this palette.
