Weekly Favourites

I have four brand spanking new posts sitting in the wings ready to go today but annoyingly Feedblitz (my feed provider) is down meaning that on certain platforms you can not read them. Technology when it goes well all is good but when it fails well it is miserable to say the least. As I am some what flustered I will only be sharing my favourite products from the last week today, hey you deserve a break from my rambles anyway!

Weekly Favourites

Make Up Forever Mat Velvet + Foundation is the one for me, it is full coverage but so light weight. It covers beautifully, looks natural and really does stand the test of time against my oily skin. It really is a dream of a foundation and I can not wait to type up my full review.

Urban Decay All Nighter Spray is something we all need. No seriously. This mist has changed my make-up life - it may not control excess oil but it does stop my make-up from fading or completely sliding off my face. I team it with Urban Decay De-Slick Spray and I can leave the powder at home knowing my make-up is going no where and I will be shine free. The dream team and I mean that.

Weekly Favourites

I have dusted off my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and got a lot of use of the cool toned neutrals particularly the shades Bootycall and Tease. I think like most I forget that I own my Naked palettes so they do collect dust which is a shame. I do really like Urban Decay eyeshadows as they are so pigmented and easy to blend out. I'm sorry Urban Decay I shall not stray again...well maybe. I like a light smoky eye teamed with a true nude lipstick and if it is matte all the better - my new go to is NYX Matt Lipstick in Nude. It is a lovely nude come peach that is really rather flattering and not at all drying.

Weekly Favourites

No surprises but Burberry My Burberry Eau de Parfum has made the cut - I am obsessed, this light floral fragrance is not something that I normally reach for when out looking for a new scent but this has captured my heart. It has been based on London rain so to an extent it is refreshing. If you enjoyed the Jo Malone London Rain collection this should be your next purchase.

Lastly if you have dry or dehydrated skin let me recommend Nuxe Crème Fraiche de Beaute Masque - 24Hr Soothing and Rehydrating Fresh Mask a mouthful yes but this moisturising mask is quick, easy and effective. Not only does this mask soothe winter beaten skin but it replenishes and deeply hydrates without being too heavy for my oil prone skin. I like to use this after travel when the air conditioning has sucked all the moisture out of my skin (could come in handy with central heating too), this mask quickly hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling soft and looking fresh. I fully recommend to all.
