I don't exfoliate nearly enough as I should, I don't enjoy scrubs on my face and find most leave my skin a little raw and red...that or I scrub too hard? Anyway if you feel similarly this is the answer, this fine white powder turns into a foam when combined with water to gently resurface the skin, it brightens, removes dead skin and has been nothing short of wonderful for my clogged pores and milia on my forehead (I know of all the places to get it!). It is beyond gentle yet from the first use your skin feels soft and not red in the slightest. A month on and my skin looks better in terms of texture - milia is still a problem but the bumps do seem to be less noticeable,
A quick read up on the ingredients only makes this more impressive with additions such as :Bamboo extract which is super fine and gentle but renowned for being extremely effective in exfoliation as well as being antibacterial (great for blemish prone skin types). Naturally rich in silica which apparently can help fight against acne and wrinkles? Indeed Labs Facial Powdered Exfoliator also contains rice bran powder which has apparently been used by the Japanese for centuries for softer, smoother feeling skin. It gently exfoliates and again has been noted prevent signs of ageing as well as healing blemishes and absorb dirt and oil from pores which would explain why I think mine look reduced in size as well as clearer? As with the majority of Indeed Labs products this also contains hyaluronic acid which you may be aware is a natural substance found in the body that helps to hydrate skin and stimulate production of collagen. Indeed Labs also state that it works as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger and can help to maintain skin elasticity which with each passing year is something I worry more and more about. It is rather interesting that it has been found that decreasing levels of hyaluronic acid are known to accompany the ageing process. As you will most likely know hyaluronic acid helps to retain its weight in water within the cells of skin, making it an excellent moisturiser which in turn makes this a gentle scrub that won't strip away the skins natural moisture levels.
If like myself science isn't your strong point what to take away from this review is that it is an effective facial scrub that is gentle, brighting but all the while deeply cleansing. It may not be the cheapest out there but a little goes a long way and the benefits are not to be missed. A huge thumbs up from me!

So is this a chemical exfoliator - no granules at all?
