Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum

Don't you feel fancy when you purchase anything from Tom Ford? I know I do and Tom Ford purchases are limited to special occasions as they are fairly pricey and that way it just makes any new acquisition that little more treasured! The latest addition Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum and it may be the most masculine fragrance I have ever worn!

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum is a refreshing light citrus come aquatic scent, in my opinion it screams summer yet thanks to the noticeable lavender addition it lends itself nicely to any occasion. I think you pretty much have exceptions of how Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Eau de Parfum will smell thanks to the blue bottle - I see blue in the fragrance world and instantly equatic it to aquatic, sea based fragarance but this is definitely not your run of the mill sea based scent. It has definitely more floral yet at times it rings masculine yet refined.

Notes include: bergamot, lemon, mandarin, lavender, myrtle, rosemary, orange bitter, Egyptian jasmine, neroli, orange blossom water, pittosporum, woody amber accord, ambrette seeds and angelica root. The idea is to capture the Italian Riveria - I haven't been so I wouldn't know! It is refreshing but not at all long lasting, on me the lavender note is what comes through the strongest which can make it more sleepy and powdery than uplifting. Yet on a male friend it changes completely and the sharp citrus notes are more obvious. It is one of those few scents that you really have to try out for yourself to understand and I'm going to go out on a limb and say I prefer this on men than I do on myself. Sorry!

Next on my list is Tom Ford Blush Santa Eau de Parfum if you are reading Santa?
