Blistex MedPlus Lip Balm

Today was the first day I truly felt the chill when out and about running errands. It was also the first time since last Winter in which I have needed gloves. To cut a long story short I have a product in which I deem to be a cold weather staple and the best part about it (well besides the fact that it actually works) is that it won't break the bank.

Regular readers will know that I have admitted on more than one occasion that I am a terrible lip chewer and picker, it is gross but a nervous habit I can't seem to shake and combined with cold winds my lips can end up a complete mess. I'm not saying this is the case all of the time, it really only happens when I am stressed or anxious but when it does occur finding a lip balm that won't make the situation worse is easier said than done. One of the few lip balms I fully recommend for chapped lips is Blistex MedPlus Lip Balm.

Admittedly I am not overjoyed by the fact Blistex MedPlus Lip Balm contains Petroleum jelly but it does seem to work which I am guessing is due to the more stellar ingredients addition such as t's perfect for conditioning Jojoba Oil and Cocoa Butter - the cocoa butter gives the balm a soft, butter like consistency. It also contains menthol to soothe, heal and cool - perfect for chapped lips and as it has an added SPF 15 protection it is great for the slopes should that be your plans this Winter.

Blistex MedPlus Lip Balm is one of the few lip balms out there that does all it claims to and more. It heals, soothes, nourishes and calms chapped lips as well as protecting them against future damage. Keep one in your coat pocket I promise you that your lips will thank you for it sooner rather than later!
