Here is a quick run down of what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...

A new Lush launch touches down on the 10th  and for a very good cause!
"LUSH have announced the launch of itsFighting Animal Testing Soap. The launch coincides with The Lush Prize, which is hosting its third annual awards evening on 14 November, rewarding outstanding contributions from around the world in the replacement of animals in testing, with prize monies totaling £250,000. The limited edition soap, with the Lush Prize signature boxing hare emblem, softens skin and leaves it scented with the fragrance of Grass. Packed with fresh wheatgrass, it contains enzymes, antioxidants and minerals which all help to maintain the skin’s natural balance. An exclusive batch of only 500 Fighting Animal Testing soaps are being made fresh in the LUSH Kitchen from 10 November and will be available for one week only, or until stocks last. All the proceeds except the VAT will go directly to InterNICHE, a Lush Prize winner in 2012. The brand has also announced the launch of a collection of Massage Bars, which contain a concoction of the finest essential oils to sooth, smooth and boost. The range comprises: Percup, loaded with caffeine and coffee beans; Pearl, which contains rose, argan oil and sago bubbles; Yes Yes Yes, featuring a jasmine fragrance; and Shades of Earl Grey, with lemon oil and grey massage bar." Prices range for £5-£8.50 and they will go in-store and online on the 10th!

I have no words but apparently Candy Crush Saga the game will be releasing a fragrance which is said to contain notes of orange blossom, apple, rose and vanilla. It sounds pleasant enough if not gimmicky but in all honesty I do see it becoming a gag gift this coming festive period.

Jo Loves will be launching a Christmas collection this month with products starting at £38. "Luxury fragrance brand JO LOVES has introduced a limited edition Christmas Shot Box Collection whereby customers can choose from four carefully selected miniature boxes featuring fragrance, bath cologne and candles. A Fragrance Show Box includes 10 x 2ml fragrances; A Bath Cologne Shot Box features 3 x 14ml in Pomelo, Pink Vetiver and No. 42 The Flower Shop fragrances; A Candle Shot Box includes 3 x 70g candles in either Fig Trees, Salted Caramel, Charcoaled Lemons, Lime Cologne, Neroli Blossom or Tahetian Gardenia; and A Bathing Shot Box contains 1 x 70g Lemongrass Scented Candle and 1 x 14ml Pomelo Bath Cologne." Who wouldn't want one of these beautiful gifts under the tree?

I have the hugest soft spot for Origins skin care most notably their face masks which I do need to replenish and soon! Speaking of which for one week only you can purchase the Origins Mask Marvels for less than half price (saving £27) via Boots. The kit contains three 75ml bottles of their best selling masks for £23! Be quick though as this offer will expire soon. Find the kit here - link.

Speaking of Christmas gifts Burberry My Burberry Eau de Parfum will undergo a festive make over for a limited time. Gone is the black/brown ribbon and in place is a pretty red bow. Don't worry as it shares the same notes as the original!

Have a very lovely evening and weekend everyone!
