Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

So you've tried the original Hydraluron and are on the look out for something similar but more suited to day use? Enter Hydraluron Moisture Jelly which is the little sister product of Hydraluron - this is not a treatment product nor a serum but rather a light and intensive daily moisturiser. With the colder months on the way this could be the very product your skin care routine is calling out for.

The packaging is rather cool, a small pump tube in which the product comes out the top. One pump equates enough product for one full application (a little goes a long way) but sometimes I do live on the edge and apply two...what a wild card! As you can see the packaging is transparent so you can see with ease when you are running low, which is always helpful.

As many will know the aim of both the Hydraluron products is hydration and the key ingredient is of course Hyaluronic Acid . This acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. In essence Hyaluronic Acid can help your skin retain moisture and in turn you get more from your product. Unlike the original Hydraluron this is a stand alone product meaning you do not team it up with another moisturiser to see optimum results. Oddly for such a hydrating treat this is super light weight in texture, it cools and absorbs instantly leaving the skin feeling refreshed and plump from the first application. As most will use Hydraluron Moisture Jelly as a day care product (you can of course use it at night in conjunction with the original Hydraluron for a intensive moisturising treat), you will be pleased to learn that this not only quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving behind no residue but also does not interfere with any make-up applied on top.

Admitedly I can not use Hydraluron Moisture Jelly daily as my skin is really oily, not dehydrated but straight up oily. I do go through phases of dehydration normally due to medication for allergic reactions (don't ask I belong in a bubble) and when this happens I do use Hydraluron Moisture Jelly. I like that it quickly rehydrates my skin and does so quickly (from the first use). The only downside is that if you do stop using it your skin will go back to normal (or dry if that is the case) but as most users become hooked from the first use I don't imagine this to be too much of a problem. If you have normal to dry skin and want a great daily intensive moisturiser that is gentle at the same time, this could be the answer.
