Zoeva 227 Brush

I have seen Zoeva brushes pop up on various blogs and Youtube channels over the last year or so and never fully paid all that much attention. Then at a press day I got to see and feel them in person. Oh how things changed! My oh my are Zoeva brushes soft, let's stroke them against our face soft and the best part is that they are totally affordable!

Zoeva 227 Brush

I was sent home with the Zoeva 227 Brush which is a also referred to as the Luxe Soft Definer. A large, natural fibre, super soft blending brush. Does it remind you of any brush? Yep it is very, very similar to MAC's infamous 217 brush only marginally cheaper (just shy of £6). The main difference between the two is that the Zoeva 227 features a larger head, it is softer and generally just a whole lot better at blending out eyeshadow. If you swear by MAC's 217 brush and have promised yourself to buy a back up or two I highly suggest purchasing the Zoeva alternative. I doubt you will be disappointed, I'm actually willing to bet that you will prefer it.

Zoeva 227 Brush

Much like the MAC 217 the Zoeva 227 Brush features a black, wooden coated handle, silver accents and as mentioned a natural fibre, slightly tapered brush head. It easily blends out eye shadow (I would recommend it for professionals right down to new make-up wearers) with such ease, washes up beautifully each and every time, the bristles don't stay nor do they splay or shed. The brush is lightweight yet slightly weighted for ease of use. Normally when you pay less, the quality isn't there but that really isn't the case with Zoeva brushes, I truly couldn't be more impressed.
