The face mask experts at Montagne Jeunesse have launched a competition to find the next big thing to join their face mask range, and they want your help!
Which ingredients would you put in your dream face mask? Avocado, berries, coconut, cream?
Share your secret with them by snapping a photo of your ingredients and uploading using the hashtag #MakeYourMask to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or through the entry form here - LINK!
The winner could end up having their very own mask joining the MJ range as well as see themselves off to Paris! No pic, no worries! Just tell us what you'd use to #MakeYourMask in the caption box!
With that in mind here is what I have come up with based not only on my skin needs but also my favourite fruits.
Strawberry, lemon and yoghurt Face Mask for oily skin types
What will you need:
4 Strawberries (per person)
1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice (per person)
2 teaspoons of natural yoghurt (per person)
Gently mash the strawberries in a bowl, you may find chopping them in half helps this process.
Then it really is as easy as combing the strawberries with the lemon juice and yoghurt.
To use simply apply to clean skin, leave for up to 10 minutes and rinse clean.
Why strawberries? They are rich in vitamin C which can protects the skin cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals (think pollution etc). They also naturally contain Salicylic Acid which as you may know can reduce scarring. Lemon has been added to my mix as it is a great natural cleanser as well as being anti-bacterial. Lemon juice is also wonderful for absorbing excess oil! I have included natural yoghurt to soothe and moisturise the skin.
If you have a great home made face mask that you'd love to join to the Montagne Jeunesse range now is your chance to make this dream become a reality. Go on have a go and be sure to use the hashtag #MakeYourMask.
