Here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...


I couldn't not post this information! The Lion King was the first ever Disney film I went to the cinema to see. I was rather young, cried when it got dark and then had an emotional breakdown when Mufasa died. Truth be told not much has changed. Well INGLOT has collaborated with Disney's The Lion King to launch Savannah Sunset, a new collection of make-up for the face, eyes, lips and nails. The new range comprises: Freedom System Eye Shadow Palette, Face Blush, Freedom System Lipstick Palette, Nail Enamel, Secret Volume Mascara and Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen. I could be wrong but I believe it is to mark it's 15th year anniversary as a musical in the Lyceum Theatre in London? I really have to make plans and actually go and see it. Oh the Lion King collab will launch this month.

NARS news always excites me! "NARS Cosmetics has announced a collaboration with fashion designer Phillip Lim for AW14, introducing a new collection of nail polishes. The 3.1 Phillip Lim for NARS Nail Collection includes nine limited edition nail shades inspired by his catwalk collection. Featuring rich jewel tones and contrasting neutral shades in a long-lasting formula with a high gloss finish, shades include: Anarchy (angora), Other Side (bitter chocolate), Hell-Bent (lacquer red), Wrong Turn (graphite), Gold Viper (champagne), Dark Room (blue denim), Shutter (black sea green), Cross Roads (African violet) and Insidious (Black Bronze)." This will launch on the 1st of August.

Rather excitingly Bobbi Brown are set to add more shades to their already expansive line up! "Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has announced the expansion of its Blush and Rich Lip Color collections, unveiling new shades. New Blush shades include Rose, Poppy, Pretty Coral, Pastel Pink, Flame, Pastel Peach, Coral Sugar and Clementine. The silky formula delivers concentrated pigments for a sheer wash of colour. Rich Lip Color is a creamy, emollient lipstick that moisturises and conditions lips, and new shades include Pop Pink, Coral Nectar, Watermelon, Ibiza Pink and Bright Poppy." The count down until the 31st of July commences now!

Ever fancied owning a Sewlomax bag? Well I suggest waiting until September! "Accessories brand SewLomax has announced the launch of a limited edition Pink lipstick Pouch, supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, taking place this October. For each bag that sells, £12 will be donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation."

Another August launch - "Sanctuary Spa has announced the launch of Wonder Oil Serum, a new multi-tasking skincare treatment for all skin types which combines the anti-ageing benefits of a serum with the hydrating benefits of an oil. A new Bioderma launch touches down on the 21st of July! Created to target every stage of skin renewal, Cicabio Cream is rapidly absorbed and restores the epidermis on both the face and the body, protecting damaged skin with its flexible, plaster-like texture.
