Weekly Favourites #36

Can you believe we are half way through the year already?
No me neither - Christmas feels like it has only just passed.
On the plus side just another six months to go until the happy event is upon us once more ha!
Anyway here is what I have been enjoying for the last week or so...

I can not be without a leave in conditioner, my long locks simply won't allow it.
After washing my hair I have (yes have) to mist my hair with a leave in conditioner or some sort to stand any real chance of de-tangling my mane. At the moment my go to leave in hair product is Uniqu One All in One Hair Treatment in Coconut. It smells wonderful, makes light work of raking a comb through my tangled ends and offers nine other benefits such as heat protection, frizz control and more. Easily one of the best leave in conditioners out there.

I have been making more of an effort when it comes to moisturising my skin, both my face and body. I have recently discovered Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask which is a must have for the warm weather. You apply to the skin, allow to sink in for up to 10 minutes then tissue off the excess. If you have dehydrated or dry skin you need this in your arsenal. It doesn't overwhelm the skin yet adds a good dose of hydration while calming and soothing in one quick step. For my body I have been relying on Aveda Stress-Fix Body Creme - a rich, creamy body butter that not only nourishes the skin but contains natural oils for aromatherapy benefits. I like to apply this before slipping into my pyjamas (I just bought thee most comfortable pair from ASOS, neon peach and jogging bottoms - check them out here, P.S 20% off everything on ASOS with the code EPIC20).

To know me is to know that I love a good self tanning product and they don't come much better than He-Shi Rapid 1 Hour Liquid Tan. This is the easiest self tan to apply - a light weight liquid that glides on the skin, tinted so you don't make any mistakes and develops within an hour. What is not to like? I am a complete convert.

My two make-up choices this week have to go to Revolution MakeUp Redemption Palette in Iconic 2 - a cool toned neutral palette that gives me more choice than a need for a quick everyday eye look. At £4 it is too good to miss out on and as you may have noticed it is a dupe for the ever iconic Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I have used no other highlighting product since being gifted Lush Feeling Younger Skin Tint - I tend to apply this on my cheekbones but it can also be used under foundation, mixed in with foundation or as a primer for the face and eyes. If you love glowing skin and a good multi-purpose product this is one you need to invest it.

Lastly my go to scent lately has been Carolina Herrera Surf 212, a bright fruity floral that forever smells great but more importantly wears exceptionally well on my skin. I also like that this bottle contains two small 30ml spherical bottles rather than one large 60ml bottle - it makes lugging one around in your bag so much easier.

What have you been enjoying?
