Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap

When I posted a quick overview of all the new Summer product launches from Lush the one product that garnered the most interest was Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap. Apparently we all like to be fuzz free and if said product is made with fresh strawberries then all the better.

Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap

Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap has a bizarre texture - it softer than soft thanks to whipped egg whites. It almost feels like mousse (it reminds me of Angel Delight), light, full of air and a pleasure to apply to the skin. Due to the whipped texture and core ingredient cocoa butter it is highly moisturising, add rosehip oil to the mix and you have a new, diverse product that soothes and nourishes the skin in one step. Very clever indeed.

Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap

Basically you apply Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap as you would a shaving foam and shave as normal. I'm not the biggest fan of shaving as my skin (particularly my legs) feels tight and often itchy soon afterwards, that and I often knick myself. One word - bloodbath. Now we have that pretty image let me tell you that thanks to Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap the razor (and no fancy razor for me, one of those sexy orange and white bic numbers - you can take the lass out of Yoker but not the Yoker out the lass!) glided over my skin, even those tricky parts such as my ankles and knees. No cuts and best of all afterwards my skin felt silky smooth for a few days afterwards. Now I did only try this out on my legs but I can imagine that it will perform just as well elsewhere and best of all it is unisex and can be used on the face.

If you want to shave with ease and smell like chocolate dipped strawberries, hot foot it to your local Lush store. Apologies I don't have the price for Lush D'Fluff Shaving Soap - it isn't currently online but I will update with a link and price as soon as I can!
