Weekly Favourites #29

Happy Mothering Sunday and a huge thank you to all the wonderful Mums, Grandmothers, Aunties, Sisters and all those inspiring and generous women within our lives. Here is what I have been enjoying for the last week or so...

I have been trialling Diptyque skincare for a few days so obviously I'm not quite ready to share my full thoughts and feelings. What I can say is that my skin has been really enjoying Diptyque Protective Moisturising Lotion - a light but hydrating formula that suits my skin down to the ground. I'm still getting to grips with the Multi-Use Exfoilating Clay, once pay day rolls around I will be purchasing the other two products within the line and review in full. Stay tuned. Find the Diptyque Skin Care Collection via Space.NK - link.

Slowly but surely I'm becoming addicted to Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster, this dinky little bottle of serum helps create a gentle sun kissed glow on my pasty winter complexion with next to no effort. You simply add a few drops to your night cream and job done. Depending on your skin tone you may need to use it for a few nights in a row but like I said it requires minimal effort which is part of the reason I love it so. Find it via John Lewis - link.

My favourite thing to apply in terms of make-up has to be contouring so it won't surprise anyone to hear that I've become a little obsessed with Sleek Make Up's Face Form Kit. A dinky palette that contains a matte bronzer, a highlighting powder and a universal blush. It is easily one of the best contouring kits I own let alone on the high street at just £9.99 it is a must have. Find it via Superdrug - link.

One day I hope to be able to go into a department store here in the UK and be able to not only easily purchase Make Up Forever products but actually swatch and not have to blind order from abroad. Dream big eh? At the moment my go to blush is Make Up Forever's HD Blush in Star Struck (14) which is a light peachy pink that not only adds a healthy flush of colour but also a radiant glow to the skin. Out of all the cream blushes I own this stays in place the longest on my oily skin.

I still can't tear myself away from Caroline Herrera's 212 Surf Edition it is just so bright and juicy - think all the best things about summer all rolled into one neat little duo. Bright, fresh summer flowers, ripe fruit and sunshine. Words can't describe how wonderful this fragrance is and I urge you all to test it in store, it could just be your go to Summer scent - I know it is mine! Find it via Debenhams - link.
