Rodial Glamsticks

I'm no stranger to lip butters in fact there was a period of time when all that graced my lips were Revlon's Lip Butters but admittedly I quickly grew tired of the soft and somewhat slippery texture. You see I want the comfort of a balm like product without the overly soft texture and the colour pay off of a lipstick. Seemingly that is hard to find, that is until I discovered Rodial Glamsticks.

The three shades I own are actually from a somewhat mini set that I picked up around the festive period so the packaging somewhat differs - the full sized versions do not feature a white cap rather they have a transparent lid, other than that they are the same. Personally I find both versions of the packaging to be visually stunning and have not experienced any problems what so ever - the caps stay firmly in place and can more than survive the odd knock or two in my bag. I would also like to mention that unlike the majority of lipsticks or lip products for that matter the Rodial Glamsticks have an amazingly fresh coconut fragrance.

I'm truthfully not all that sure how many shades of Rodial Glamsticks are available but I know it is somewhat limited - over on Space.NK there is three shades to choose from yet on QVC they have a four pack. The shades I have are: Bang which is a light but bright mid toned neutral pink, Revenge a super bright almost shocking pink and Pyscho which is neither pink nor red nor is it coral, it is a unique blend of all three shades and the one I recommend seeking out as it is such an original shade. I will be purchasing the shade Bite next via QVC as it is currently on offer for £11.96 - link.

At £25 a pop for a full sized Rodial Glamstick they are far from cheap but I have to hold my hands up and say no other tinted lip butter comes close. They glide onto the lipssmoothly delivering a rather wonderful dose of hydration which is due to two key ingredients Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E, the colour pay off is far more intense than I imagined it would be and most importantly they are a joy to wear. The Rodial Glamsticks don't cling to any dry areas of my lips which other tinted lip butters have, they don't melt nor do they have a tendency to bleed - just nourishing, protective lip colour. What more could I ask from what is essentially a tinted lip balm? The answer is nothing but the Rodial Glamsticks have been formulated so that along with a glossy moisturising sheen they actually protect the lips too.

You can find the full sized Rodial Glamsticks for £25 each via Space.NK - link or you can purchase a limited edition quad from QVC for £27 - link.
