Aerin Fragrance Collection

Aerin Fragrance Collection

Hands up who wants to be effortlessly cool?
I do, I dream of being one of those women who just exude coolness but with next to no effort,
think Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and although more polished I also feel Gwyneth Paltrow and Gwen Stefani look forever beautiful. For those like myself who need a little helping hand I think the brand Aerin is the way to go, chic palettes, fragrances and lip colours which are all so effortless but beautiful.
Told you I'd get there in the end...

As I'm somewhat new to discovering the wonders of Aerin I thought it would be better in terms of fragrance to sample the Aerin Fragrance Collection so I could get a feel for each scent and let's face it who can say no to dinky little bottles of perfume? Not me that's for sure.

The Aerin Fragrance Collection contains five 9ml bottles of Eau de Parfum all of which have been based on memories, more specifically the treasured memories of Aerin Lauder. My personal favourite is Gardenia Rattan, a bright citrus come floral scent that just screams summer. If you are a fan of Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder then this is your permanent solution. Below is all five official scent descriptions and my thoughts:

"Gardenia Rattan captures the spirit of Summer. Like a breath of sea spray, sparkling Wet Marine Notes envelop the senses while a gentle blend of white flowers including Gardenia, Tuberose and Tiare Tahiti exude lush femininity. Amber adds rich texture, like the last warming rays of the perfect Summer day".As mentioned above this is my favourite as it reminds me rather strongly of Bronze Goddess, I would deem this to be the fail safe scent out of the five, although not mentioned in the official scribe I do detect creamy coconut as well as the crisp, white florals.

"Lilac Path weaves a delicate story of crisp greens, rich blooms and delicate petals.
Evocative Lilac infuses the scent with inviting depth, heightened by lush fragrant Galbanum. Creamy Jasmine Lactones blend with soft Angelica Seed Oil and Orange Flower."
This is my least favourite of the bunch, if you like blue florals that are dusky and slightly powdery I would recommend this for my taste it is a little too mature.

"Evening Rose is vibrant with contrast. Juicy Blackberry and rich Cognac unexpectedly blend with voluptuous Rose Centifolia and Bulgarian Rose Absolute in an intriguing, alluring elixir. Incense, sensuous and luxurious, imparts soft warmth, like a lingering memory of an unforgettable evening."
A rose scent for those who dislike typical powdery rose offerings, rather this is a bold, bright floral that reminds me of warm summer evenings spent abroad by the sea. I'm shocked by how much I like this fragrance as I'm well and truly over rose based scents. A surprise favourite that's for sure.

"Amber Musk blends sensual florals, distinctive amber and creamy musk. Ambrox makes a velvety first impression, contrasted by a succulent burst of Coconut Water and the femininity of Rose Centifolia Absolute. Like the glow of amber flames, lingering Benzoin & Musk infuses the fragrance with warmth."
A rich, warm yet inviting scent that doesn't over power - listed as a soft cosy blanket on a snowy winters night by Aerin Lauder and I for one can't disagree. It is soft but has depth and is unlike anything else I own. I wouldn't deem this your typical Amber or Musk based scent rather it fuses both together for a unique experience. Come next Winter I can imagine this being my signature scent.

"The impeccable pairing of Jasmine Sambac and Jasmine Egypt Infusion is enhanced with exotic Tuberose Fleur in a fragrance rich with velvety body and soft freshness. A delicate touch of Honeysuckle invigorates the senses, while Tuberose Infusion and Sandalwood add subtle intensity and luminous depth as captivating as the woman who wears it."
Crisp like a freshly washed white shirt is how I describe this, effortless yet chic. A simple, clean floral that is perfect for those who dislike overpowering scents. I personally see this as a wonderful option for Spring.

The  Aerin Fragrance Collection essentially offers a fragrance for every mood and occasion, although the bottles are somewhat dinky the eau de parfumes are intense so a little goes a long way.
