Weekly Favourites #22

Here is what I have been enjoying the last week or so...

I make no apologies for it...I am slowly but surely turning into a Jo Malone addict but hey who can blame me? At the moment all I seem to be wearing in terms of perfume is Jo Malone Rain and Angelica Cologne which will launch in March. I did have plans to purchase one of the other offerings within the London Rain collection but as I'm so attached to this version I think a back up may be in order? Speaking of Jo Malone to get me through the miserable weather I have been lighting my recent Jo Malone purchase - Jo Malone Just Like Sunday Candle in Macaroon and Sweet Almond. A sugary, sweet rush without all the guilt (well if you can get past the fact that a candle is essentially like burning money). You can find it here - link.

If you had told me at any point that one day I would prefer a blue eyeliner to black I would have scoffed yet here I am happily slicking on a deep navy blue to my upper lash line. Admittedly Anastasia Covet Waterproof Eyeliner in Azure (you can find it here - link) is more of a blue tinged black than an 80's throw back but the hint of blue really helps me make the most of my often saucer sized grey eyes. While we are on the topic of eye make up I would like to profess my love Bourjois CC Eye Cream - a quick and easy way to perk up tired under eyes without worrying about the product caking. A great little budget buy which you can find here - link.

The past week is one in which I have come to rediscover and appreciate Topshop Make Up Cream Blushes, I have been wearing the shade Morning Dew which is a bright, slightly coral tinged pink which perks up the skin all the while looking fresh. I can't find this online but I am pretty sure you can still purchase it in store. The coral tones in the blush work particulary well with my current lipstick of choice - Yves Saint Laurent Spring Look: Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick in Jealous Coral (find it here - link). A light but bright and easy to wear pinky coral that not only looks great but is one of the easiest to wear lipstick formulas to wear ever. Once you buy one shade you will go back for more, I can almost guarantee it.
