Maybelline Brow Drama

This review has been a long time coming, so much so that I am now on my second tube of Maybelline Brow Drama. If like myself you prefer a natural, soft look when it comes to your brows this is the product for you.

Maybelline Brow Drama

The packaging of the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara's is fairly basic and does look rather like a typical mascara - I have on occasion came this close to applying to my eyelashes in a half awake state. The main difference that sets this aside from your bog standard mascara is of course the brush - unlike a traditional mascara the wand features a large and long spoolie that has a ball shaped end. The concept is that you can use the unusual shape to easily sculpt and tame brow hairs and I have to to say that the design works. The ball aspect easily grabs even the shortest of brow hairs tints them in the mascara as well as allowing you to easily brush the hairs up or in which ever direction you need them to go to create your ideal brow shape. The wand is so well thought out that you honestly could apply it to your brows without a mirror if needed.

Maybelline Brow Drama

I have fairly light brows so in the past I have always skipped brow mascara's as the tend to be too deep in shade for my needs, however Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara comes in three shades one of which should be suitable for everyone. I have Dark Blond which is a deep cooled toned ashen taupe hue that will look natural on anyone with light brows. Initially I was a little worried that the mascara would be too dark in tone for my brows but once applied it of course looks lighter and more realistic on the brows than say a powder or pencil. You also have the added benefit of the fact that along with tinting the brows this mascara once set won't wear off or succumb to oily skin - a problem I have encountered with powders. The only downside is that much like any other brow mascara once dry this does leave the brows feeling a little crispy and stiff which may not be to everyone's taste.

However when it comes to a fuss free way to shape and tint my brows Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara is what I reach for.
