Weekly Favourites #15

The week before Christmas is exhausting isn't it?
As I have been a little time starved my beauty routine has been fairly minimal recently but I do have a good few great products that I think everyone should check out...

Newly launching this coming January is Dr.Andrew Weil for Origins Mega Bright Dark Circle Minimiser which I have found to be rather handy as of late. Not only does it hydrate the delicate skin surrounding the eye area (you can even apply make-up on top of it) but it does help to rid the undereye of dark circles. Of course it does this with time rather than immediately but in the week that I have been using it I have noticed a difference urging me on to stick with it. In a month or so I will update with a full review.

As I mentioned above it has been a busy week but luckily my skin has been decent so I have been applying Origins Smarty Plants CC Cream in place of foundation. It doesn't really offer all that much in terms of coverage but it does even out the skin tone and provides a light, glowy finish which I rather enjoy. Find it for £28 via John Lewis - link.

To take off my make-up and as part of a duo cleanse process I have been using the rather scrumptiously scented Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Brighten Skin Renew Cleansing Oil. As you can imagine this has a bright, cheery orange fragrance that reminds me somewhat of Origins Ginzing Moisturiser. Out of all the facial oils I own this is the heaviest and does take a little more work on the grounds it somewhat sticks to the skin so you have to ensure you remove every trace and the fact it doesn't come with a pump. Find it here for £10.99 via Boots - link.

I have rediscovered Chanel's Chance EDP this week and can't get over how long lasting this is on my skin in comparrison to other fragrances I own. Sure it is pricey but a little goes a long, long way making it worth every penny. That and the fact it smells truly amazing. Find it via the House of Fraser £48-£95 - link.

My last two must have products for the week have to be Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette (win it here) which has not left my side since I purchased it. Typically I use the rich pink gold shade Buzz as an all over wash and follow up with lashing of MAC's Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara for a simple but polished look. This mascara allows you to easily build up volume without being too heavy on my sparse and fine lashes. I'm not typically a fan of MAC's mascaras but this one is well worth investing in. You can find MAC Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara for £18 via Debenhams - link  and Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette for £37 here - link.
