I feel like the UK has went straight from Summer (a lacklustre Summer at that) straight into Winter. I don't actually mind Winter at all but the dark mornings can leave me a little grumpy and rather dreading a morning shower. To not only make my morning shower a little more pleasant but to also give me an intensive wake-up call I have ensured all my shower products are citrus or fruity scented and once recent addition is Bomb Cosmetics Blackcurrant Body Polish .

Admittedly I would never have added this to my shopping cart and would not own it had it not been a free gift from spending a certain amount on the Bomb Cosmetics website. However the huge and I mean huge tub (375g) has more than come in handy). First of all I want to touch base on the packaging which is rather pretty and almost psychedelic - it is a great size but don't leave it in the shower, the paper labelling will tear off, the ink will smudge and as the lid is not completely secure once the seal has been opened the scrub may become ruined in such conditions. Having said that kept on a shelve or something to that extent in the bathroom would be more than fine.

As someone with a penchant for self tanning I need a good body scrub to ensure not only that my skin is silky soft before application but to also to keep it looking fresh through course of wear. When it comes to body scrubs or polishes for that matter I like something that is fairly coarse yet not abrasive and that is exactly what Bomb Cosmetics Blackcurrant Body Polish delivers. This body polish has been formulated with shea butter so that although it will remove all traces of dry and dead skin with ease it also adds a quick and effective boost of moisture. I can truly think of no better formulation for winter. The main seller for me has to be the fragrance - my gosh is it scrumptious and almost good enough to eat. It is sweet and reminds me very much of blackcurrant sorbet and the good news is that the scent is created with natural oils...can I get a hallelujah?

If you are on the look out for a new body scrub or polish look no further!
