"Introducing an ultra-modern range of unique brushes that delivers a high level of performance and revolutionizes personal make-up application. Ergonomically designed for even and effortless application, lush, silky, synthetic fibres are engineered to expertly pick up and apply product seamlessly. Available in three sizes, Linear 1, Oval 3 and Oval 6 feature a special grip brush handle designed for absolute control, and a tilted tip that keeps fingers and hands out of the way for ultimate precision."
Three new brushes are set to launch via MAC next month (if you live in North America they are already available for sale) and although they look rather bizarre (in my opinion they look like mini loofah's) they are said to be rather wonderful. The Masterclass Brushes have been shaped to match the natural planes of the face. Initially I thought they were for dabbing on make-up but rather they are to be used in gliding strokes, great for contouring and covering large areas in one quick movement. Try blush and bronzer for contouring the cheek bone area. Obviously without personally testing the brushes out I can't vouch for the concept nor quality but I am intrigued and will be purchasing a brush or two to try out once they launch.
The three brushes are as follows:
Linear 1
"With a short, narrow shape, the brush delivers a firm, precise stroke to line lashes and lips. Also defines and fills brows. Synthetic fibres. Handle features special grip design and tilted brush tip for ultimate precision. Sleek black finish."
Oval 3
"The ultimate multi-purpose tool, with an elongated oval shape and slightly pointed tip. Smoothly shades and blends powder or cream eye shadows, powder, and liquid or cream concealer in the hard-to-reach contours of the face. Synthetic fibres. Handle features special grip design and tilted brush tip for ultimate precision. Sleek black finish."
Oval 6
"Ideal for blush, foundation or powder, the rounded, medium-sized brush applies, blends and contours all over the face or cheeks for even, flawless coverage. Synthetic fibres. Handle features special grip design and tilted brush tip for ultimate precision. Sleek black finish."
What are your thoughts?
I thought they were some type of toothbrush when I first saw them.
ReplyDeleteReally bizzare shape. But they must be really good quality, as all MAC brushes are.

The more I look at them the more confused I get about how id use them. I thought it was some sort of back brush to be honest. x

They're certainly quite odd and different. They'll either end up fading away into distant memory, or if they prove popular other brands will create their own versions, I think!
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
