Think Pink

As many will know this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a whole slew of brands will be donating a small percentage of their sales to such charity which in my opinion is not only honourable but very much needed. There truly is so much to pick from that you are spoiled for choice and it doesn't at all feel like you are donating to charity...by that I mean each item is either an old favourite repackaged or a "pink" take on classic beauty items rather than the likes of a red nose etc.

I am all for charity but I will not purchase anything I won't typically use so my top three Think Pink picks are practical..god I am so dull. First up we have The Pink Ribbon Journal from Pen Haven which is a truly beautiful real leather note pad which can be personalised with initialising and custom paper choices. At £24.50 it is well priced and lets face it how many of us regardless of our vocation can say we don't use a notepad at some point? The custom factors also make it a great gift choice. Keeping in mind I am a fairly practical kind of gal it will come of little surprise that I always have a lip balm on my person. Well what could be better than the limited edition version of the Origins Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm in Guava complete with pink ribbon packaging to honour the cause. The Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm formula contains Ximenia Americana seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil and Avocado Oil to deliver a boost of nourishing hydration. It also contains Aloe Vera to helps soothe the lips as well as a complex of Orange Peel, Barley and Wheat Germ help protect and guard against future dryness. Despite looking like a gloss both in the packaging and on the lips it has a rather thick but non-sticky texture which instantly softens and soothes the lips complete with a zingy mint fragrance. Find it here -link.

Last but not least we have Nails Inc Pinky Polish which for each bottle sold Nails Inc will donate £1 to the charity but what's more they will also donate an additional 25p for every tweet or instagram photo featuring Nails Inc Pinkie Pink Polish and the hashtag #SPOTTHEPINKIE to @nailsinc @BCCampaign on twitter and @nailsinclondon on Instagram. The polish itself is a light almost Barbie pink full on glitter polish which is opaque in two quick coats and dry exceptionally quick too which is always a bonus. Obviously as the name suggests "Pinkie Pink" is intended to be worn on the pinkie finger and in my experience (and opinion for that matter) it looks great teamed with any shade of pink polish. Oh you should also know that Beyonce is a fan.You can find Nails Inc Pinkie Pink via Nails Inc - here .
