Be it a new pair of pj's, a new candle, a book or a chocolate bar.
In my case it is a combination of all of the above and let me tell you when you are feeling a little run down
or simply down in the dumps there is no better way to spend an evening at home.
The newest candle addition to my stash (would you like a peek in my candle cupboard? It is a real thing, I promise!) is NEOM Real Luxury - a blend of Lavender, Jasmine and Brazilian Rosewood. Now I know not everyone is a fan of Lavender but let me be the first to say it is no way overpowering rather it helps mellow out the the Jasmine note and can aid relaxation without the drowsy factor of straight up Lavender. In my opinion this is a light white floral based fragrance - clean yet comforting and simply perfect for an evening curled up on the sofa. It does engulf the entire room and in my opinion home but I do live in a fairly small flat with its luxurious fragrance and yet it doesn't overpower. I find it to be the perfect blend to wind down with and the candle I have found myself burning if I spend too long in the city centre.
As with all Neom blends this is has been created for aromatherapy benefits and as mentioned above it has been intended for a little me time. Perfect for taking into the bathroom for a deep bubble bath or for accompanying a dvd box set and pizza night. Either way as all Neom candles are made using only vegetable wax and pure essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances they burn without releasing harmful pollutants, toxins or soot - so you can be kind to yourself and your lungs!

If I had a spare £40 I'd so buy one, I like the enchantment one best though! Your blog is fab by the way!

You are killing me with this candle porn! Am all out and using a feckin' rose-scented tealight from the Euro Saver. Would love a peek at your candle cupboard :)
ReplyDeleteOooo, it sounds so nice... but £40 is quite steep... Looking at their site, they say each candle burns up to 50 hours so it works out at about £1.27 per hr which doesn't sound as bad...lol. So glad you have a candle cupboard! I have a candle drawer but am building a steady collection so may need a cupboard soon!xx
