In 2011 Diesel launched a follow up fragrance to their popular Fuel for Life - Diesel Fuel for Life Denim Collection. Each fragrance has been inspired by the motive of the iconic denim fabric. Denim is often seen as a symbol of youth, freedom and being effortless cool- forever fashionable and forever comfortable. Each bottle is dressed in denim which is a cute little touch that can also be removed via the side zipper should you wish. Truth be told once removed the bottle almost looks naked!
Fuel for Life Denim Collection Femme is officially listed as a floral woody fragrance, which top notes of juicy raspberries, jasmine at the heart, finished with dry woody notes of grey amber. It is one of those fragrances that reminds me of something not necessarily another perfume but something familiar that I can't quite put my finger on, I want to say a Kenzo scent but I'm not sure which one...gah! Diesel Fuel for Life Denim Collection Femme is a bright, sweet fragrance that has a slight ring of fresh washed linen to it livened up by the clear not of raspberry. If you don't like raspberries then this is not for you as it certainly comes through. I see Fuel for Life Denim Collection Femme as a great spring/summer addition yet it is light enough to wear every day.
I have sprayed this all over my new winter coat and have to say that it has stayed put for three days now and is a great little fruity pick me up when I'd rather be snuggled up in bed. I have of course also tested this on my skin and find it wears pretty much all day long which is not always the case with Diesel fragrances or lighter scents in general for that matter.
