A black candle. Spooky, mystical and oh so alluring.
Doesn't it just scream forbidden fruit to you - that shouldn't touch or burn it and yet you will?
I love all things mystical and every good spooky story has either a spell book that must not be opened or a candle that must not be lit. For all those like myself who tend to get a little carried away come Halloween this can be your not so mystical substitute. Oh spooooookkkkyyyyy!
The Bahoma London Limited Edition Black Candle Halloween 2013 is obviously presented in a black glossy glass container which is much larger in size than my images show. The wax itself has been tinted with a vivid yellow orange shade and fragranced with a sweet vanilla fragrance. In fact the scent is Vanilla Parfait which is a dead ringer for Laura Mercier Creme Brulee candle offering only this is a little stronger and complete engulfs the home with it's sweet, slightly biscuit like vanilla tones. Don't get me wrong I truly do love Yankee Candles for fun fragrances but for something a little more grown up that will look sophisticated in the home yet still captures the vibe of Halloween the Bahoma London Limited Edition Black Candle Halloween is the way to go. Is the black candle appeals to you but the vanilla scent isn't quite for you there is an entire range of fragrances to pick from with the Bahoma Black Candle range.

That is one thing I am not keen on with Yankee Candles, they can be a but gimmicky! This sounds gorgeous though.

Sounds lovely & spooky at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI like it when candles just fill the room with their scent & lingers for a long time. I like having candles burning all through the day - makes me feel relaxed.
