I was meant to be visiting a craft fair today with a family dinner in the evening instead I am snuggled up in bed feeling sorry for myself. It is one of those days in which I don't feel 100% and I just know some bug or cold will be in full swing tomorrow. Ugh! Don't feel too sorry for me as I have my cat and the Die Hard Box set for company ha! Anyway here is what I have been digging the past week...

Weekly Favourites

As with most weeks I have been all about a nude lip and even more unsurprising my picks are both from MAC. I really can not get enough of MAC Prolong Wear Lipsticks and my personal favourite is a light peachy nude dubbed To the Future! What is odd though is that I have been wearing a lip gloss most days which is totally not me and if like myself you tend to favour a nude lip choice I urge you to pick up MAC's Fashion Punch Lipglass before it is yanked from the shelves. Damn you limited editions.

Weekly Favourites

I have finally got back into mascara and just a few days before I get eyelash extensions and will have no need for it...typical. However if you are looking for a great all round mascara that lengths, adds volume all the while looking natural then you need to try out Laura Mercier's Faux Lash Mascara. It is a new personal favourite. For eyeshadow the last few days it has been a quite swipe of MAC's Eclair Paint Pot again annoyingly a limited edition shade. To keep my dark circles in check I have been relying on Maybelline's Eraser for Dark Circles - yes the shade I have is exclusive to North America but the UK shades work just as well.

Weekly Favourites

Being the creature of habit that I am still advocating Tarte's Amazon Clay 12-hour Blush in Glisten - as much as I love NARS Orgasm I don't find it to be all that pigmented especially if I am tanned yet I really like the bright golden coral based shade. If that sounds familiar and you get the chance please pick up Tarte Glisten you will not regret it.

Now that the days in Scotland have become colder and the weather has taken a turn for the worst I am on the hunt for a new Winter's coat to pair with my trusty Thierry Mugler Alien fragrance. Most will know that this is my signature scent but it just seems so much more fitting and dare I say it comforting in the autumn/winter months.
