Weekly Favourites

I rather enjoy sharing my weekly favourites more so than my monthly picks as I find sharing weekly gives me the chance to share a broader range of products rather than editing down to my top 5 or 6 for the month.
If you struggle narrowing down your picks weekly favourites are the way forward I tell ya!

Weekly Favourites

Oddly I still haven't found a perfect foundation or mascara formula yet, sure many come very close but at the moment nothing is blowing me away - that and my skin is behaving rather well so I can get away with a sheer BB/CC Cream at the moment yay! Anyway I have been truly enjoying combing Vichy's CC Cream with Bourjois Universal Illuminating Powder for a light dewy finish - no it doesn't completely control my oily skin but when you go for a glowy finish over matte excess oil doesn't quite look half as bad! Speaking of glowing I have been enjoying dusting Tarte's Glisten blush on my cheeks for a lit within glow - if only they were stocked in the UK.

Weekly Favourites

The reoccurring theme this week is radiance and one product I am accrediting for my fresher than normal complexion is Elemental Herbology's Cell Food Serum. I tend to use this product half an hour before I apply my make-up in the morning to allow it to fully soak in. As an oily skinned gal I don't need a whole lot of moisture but my skin is prone to dullness and this serum peps up the skin without overwhelming. It is early days for me as far as this product is concerned so do expect a full review in a month or so.

Weekly Favourites

My make-up picks are typical me - coral lips and a bronze neutral eye but hey if it ain't broke don't fix it. I still can not get enough of NARS Ride Up to the Moon palette notably the two shades in the middle, combine both with a quick slick of mascara and you have an easy everyday golden smoky eye. Topshop's Oh La La lipstick combined with Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream is my current go to lip duo - the lipstick gives a pretty almost neon flash of colour and the 8 Hour Cream adds both gloss and hydration to my currently dried out lips. Both are well formulated that I urge you to try sooner or later especially the 8 Hour Lip Balm if the thought of winter has you quaking in your new Topshop booties.

Weekly Favourites

At the moment I have been living in Narciso Rodriguez for Her EDT yes it is strong but my gosh it is beautiful and one of the few fragrances I own that strangers (mostly men) will comment on. I can see this being my scent pick for 2013.
