Sleek Make-Up Antique Blush

Today certainly feels like Autumn, well here in Glasgow anyway - it is windy, dull and grey but what's new?
I jest..normally it is raining too. With such weather I couldn't think of a more perfect excuse to share Sleek Make-Up's newest blush offering which is from the Vintage Romance collection (you have to see the eye palette -review link.) it may just be your go to Autumn blush.

In my opinion Sleek Make-Up blushes are on par with the likes of NARS in-fact the packaging is pretty similar too - a sleek (no pun intended) matte black casing with a good sized and quality mirror to boot. The newest shade which will be limited edition when it launches this September, has been dubbed Antique and is a deep cool toned red brown (almost berry). Continuing with the NARS comparison this is pretty similar albeit a smidgen deeper than NARS Oasis Blush. Sleek Make-Up Antique is a shimmer formula which features tiny blue/silver flecks of glitter which sounds more daunting than it actually is - the overall effect is brightening not full out glitter explosion. This shade is intensely pigmented so I do suggest approaching with a light hand particularly those with fair skin tones.

There is very little I can fault when it comes to Sleek Make-Up Blushes they are crazily pigmented, long wearing and generally a brilliant budget buy. The only slight niggle that comes to mind is that the blush can produce a substantial amount of fall out but in most cases I'm sure that can be over looked. Truthfully the Antique shade is not to my personal taste it looks a little ruddy on my skin tone but I do think it would be beautiful on both pale skin tones and deeper complexions. Yes it does contain glitter particles but they don't have a tendency to settle into the pores nor is the formula overly dry that it clings to dry patches of the skin. The great thing about Sleek Make-Up blushes is that they tend to wear on my skin which is oily for up to 8 hours with ease. For £4.99 the formula gets a huge thumbs up from me.

At the moment I have exact launch date for the Sleek Make-Up Vintage Romance collection* but it will be early September and should I get a date I will update both reviews with prices too!
