Laura Mercier Lumiere d'Ambre Eau de Parfum

Truthfully I'm not all that acquainted with Laura Mercier fragrances, I have owned a few candles by the brand in the past which are truly divine (which are currently half price via House of Fraser - link) but never stopped to take in the fragrance line. I guess I'm always occupied by the cosmetics to take any notice which is a shame as there is some delights to be had!

Laura Mercier Lumiere d'Ambre is a warm, sensual floral with musky and fruity notes - it shouldn't work but it does. It reminds me of a crisp Autumn day with leaves crunching, lots of layers and the promise of a hot bowl of soup at home...gah can it be Autumn already please? Come the chilly weather I personal look for something a little warmer, comforting and in some instances longer wearing and Laura Mercier Lumiere d'Ambre is all of those things rolled into one sophisticated bottle, one spray is all you need of this scent and it will linger all day long!

Lumiere d'Ambre has top notes of mandarin, water lotus and pink pepper, with jasmine, vanilla orchid and rose petals at the heart. While amber, musk and ambroxan form the warm base notes. All that is missing is a hot cup of cocoa and a roaring fire!
