Oddly one of the products I have lusted after for over a year was Jergens Natural Glow Gradual Tanner. Yes a blinking gradual self tanner! After several positive write up's and Youtube videos from many a beauty guru (don't you hate that term?) all swearing by this particular tanner I knew I would not leave the States empty handed.

I've used Jergens on and off since becoming immersed in the beauty world so to speak and do recommend the brand for great body moisturisers but as I'm pretty lazy when it comes to body lotions, I prefer something quicker like the Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturiser (sheer genius). However being a fake tan junkie my skin can get dry on occasion so any product that successfully combines both a hint of self tanner and body moisturiser in one quick step gets the thumbs up from me.

Jergens Natural Glow Gradual Tanner is a light, liquid which does feel great on the skin and as far as fake tanning products go it is not at all drying however in my experience it does take a little longer than I'm used to in terms of drying/absorbing. Although the product claims to deliver great colour without the odor I'm afraid that it does have a typical self tanner scent - it reminds me of vanilla and cocoa butter when first applied and then mutates into that biscuit-y scent we all know and love (not!). However it really is nothing a quick shower can't resolve and if like myself you apply this before bed very few people will have to know your biscuit fragrant shame!

Obviously depending on your skin tone, which Jergens Natural Glow Gradual Tanner shade you opt for (I went for the medium to tan) and how often you apply this the results will differ. The attribute most will be hoping that this delivers is a flawless and natural looking shade and thankfully it can't be faulted. The first time I used this I haphazardly slapped it on and half expected to awake to a tan that would be as patchy as a dalmatian's back but nope just a light golden hue that looked like I had spent a few hours sun bathing - pretty impressive huh! For a deeper tan you can of course apply this daily like I have in the above end swatch
until you achieve the shade you desire. I have no idea why the intial swatch image looks so red - I wasn't at all burnt...most odd! Anyway all in all this gets a huge thumbs up from me, now if only this could be stocked                           in the UK all would be good with the self tanning world once again.

The good news is that you can purchase this from Amazon for less than £5 for the light version(including p&p) and £7 for the mid tone version.
