Taylor by Taylor Swift Eau de Parfum

Who likes to title their posts with cheesy lyrical references? This guy!
All jokes aside, I'm not in any shape or form a Swifty (Taylor Swift fan) but I've got to give it to the gal she markets a mean perfume line, hand on heart I have so far enjoyed and own every fragrance she has launched to date with the most recent addition being my favourite.

Taylor by Taylor Swift Eau de Parfum is divine, a little more sophisticated than what you may have come to expect from the Taylor Swift fragrance franchise which is not only reflected in the scent but also the bottle. Okay the bottle may be on the heavier side and not at all ideal for lugging around on a daily basis but the sheer Art Deco inspired and decorative touches do mean it will look fantastic on your dresser. The pearls are apparently a nod to the singers favourite jewellery pieces.

The scent itself is a bright fruity floral fusion that reminds me a little of Escada's typical offerings only longer lasting and a little stronger, I also think that if you are a fan of Armani's Diamonds fragrance you will enjoy this too. Taylor by Taylor includes top notes of lychee, tangerine and magnolia petals, combined with peony, hydrangea and vanilla orchid as the heart notes. The base is a combination of sandalwood, apricot nectar, cashmere musk and soft woods - in my opinion this is not at all a musky offering and the fruity notes prevail.

Will Taylor by Taylor Swift become the go to celebrity scent and become as acceptable amongst us in our twenties to own as a bottle of Britney Spears Fantasy? Who knows but I do urge you to at least test out this new fragrance addition, I have a feeling you will be pleasantly surprised.
