Ciate Feathered Manicure Kit

I could kick myself - I have the most beautiful Ciate Feathered Manicure Kit in my grasps and no-one to apply it to. Both my fingernails and toenails have some sort of artificial coating which has only been freshly done in the last few days, my sisters are now back at school and everyone else I know is employed within a fairly professional setting and can't be a model!

However I did manage to apply the kit to some false nails so I guess all is not lost and to make things a little easier I have laid the images out in a simple step by step guide, it really was easier than I had initially thought and that is with crazy long almond nails ha!

Ciate Feathered Manicure Kit

1, First apply two coats of the white Ciate Paint Pot (Snow Virgin) and allow to dry fully.

2, Next apply a generous coat of the Ciate Speed Coat Pro Fast Drying Top Coat before gently pressing on a feather. You want to aim for a small space between the feather and cuticle and may find it easier to apply the feather with a pair of tweezers.

3, Snip of the excess feather lengths and apply another coat of the Ciate Speed Coat Pro Fast Drying Top Coat applying from the tip of the nail to the cuticle (upwards) and allow to dry.

4, Lastly fine off any excess feather at the tip and you are good to go.

I'm not a massive fan of gimmicky nail art but will admit to being a fan of the Feathered Manicure look and think it will be a great and popular look this Autumn. I can help but imagine how beautiful this effect could look with Peacock feathers?

Ciate Feathered Manicure Kit* - sorry no price or release date as of yet but my guess is it will be around £20 and will more than likely be a Selfridges exclusive.
* PR Sample sent for consideration of review.

Random Fact - Even flightless birds (ostriches, penguins, etc) retain some features meant to sustain flight.
