DKNY Be Delicious EDP

I'm sure we all have one fragrance that instantly transports us back to a certain period in our life's and for me DKNY Be Delicious is one of those scents. I first began to wear it in 2008 when I was a fresh faced newbie at college and a permanent fixture on the party scene (oh how times have changed). I wore it all through out college, on many a girls only holiday and even a holiday with a then boyfriend. Luckily all the memories of those days are happy and the trip down memory lane is always joyous and who knows maybe when I'm 50 with grand kids of my own I can apply DKNY Be Delicious liberally and enjoy the flushes of my youth once more. It is rather amazing the power fragrance can hold isn't it?

Personal flashbacks aside I do rather enjoy the strong apple tones of DKNY Be Delicious, it is one of the very few scents to this day that can stop me in my tracks. It never smells dated in my opinion, just young, hip and fresh. I can think of nothing better to brighten a dull day or for those who enjoy fruity scents that aren't sickly sweet. What I will say is that the EDP is far stronger than the EDT version which is normally the case anyway but in the instance of Be Delicious it is somewhat amplified tenfold.

Best described DKNY Be Delicious is a fresh, green floral which includes notes of violet leaf, green apple, grapefruit and magnolia as the top notes. The heart notes include tuberose, lily of the valley, rose and violet, while the base is constructed of sandalwood, amber and musk - none which I can personally detect.

Random Fact - Planting an apple seed from a particular apple will not produce a tree of that same variety. The seed is a cross of the tree the fruit was grown on and the variety that was the cross pollinator.
