Glossybox August

What can I say this month's box is a bit of a dud as far as I'm concerned.
Let's skip the pleasantries and let me show you what was inside my box...

Glossybox August

Oceane Make-Up Remover Pen (full size)
This is a product of Brazil and intended for cleaning up any minor mistakes such as smudged eye liner, mascara etc that doesn't dry out the skin. As far as I'm concerned it is gimmicky and nothing that a quick cotton bud dipped in eye make-up remover can't solve, money saved. That and as it is a product of Brazil it isn't all that easy to come by so you are pretty much screwed when it comes to re-purchasing clean up nibs. A novelty at best.

Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Liner (full size)
A nice enough liner which does double up as an all over eyeshadow in a universal shade.
If you decide to use this as an eyeshadow be sure to prime as I found it creased rather easily, it could also do with being a little softer in texture as it tugged on the eyes but for an emergency it would more than suffice.

Tresemme Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment (full size)
It isn't all a bust had it not been for Glossybox I wouldn't have got to try out this wonderful but quick hair treatment. Basically you smooth this on the mid-lengths through to the ends of the hair either before conditioner or in its place. Leave for one minute, rinse and hey presto silky soft hair without a trace of frizz. A brilliant intense treatment that I will be purchasing as soon as I spot it on the shelves.

Urban Veda Daily Radiance Facial Wash
I prefer a balm like cleanser and one that is not overall scented as this product is however I do have to admit that it is a natural based product free from SLS and parabens. This cleanser claims to brighten the skin as well as balancing the overall tone, obviously that will be with continous use which I couldn't commit to - the scent is too much for me personally and I didn't find it all the effective in removing foundation.

Glossybox August

Emite Make-Up Eyelash Curlers (full size)
Apparently the Emite Eyelash Curlers are the Sweddish equivalent of the infamous Shu Emura version. Truthfully the Emite version is a great eyelash curler and does the job nicely but the Shu Emura set do have the edge particularity if like myself you have poker straight eyelashes.

Although I wasn't blown away this month I will say that it is great to see so many full sized products in one box and with a service like Glossybox the luck is always in the draw.
