Wild About Beauty Safari Nights Palette

Today I have another brilliant travel friendly palette but the Wild About Beauty Safari Nights Palette is a palette with a difference! Not only are the shades and products inside of beautiful tones and quality but the Wild About Beauty Safari Nights Palette is a palette with a conscious - £4 from the sale of every kit goes straight towards the Born Free Foundation (Keeping Wildlife in the Wild) which is a truly fabulous charity and cause for that matter.

Unknown to me until recently is the fact that the brand Wild About Beauty is actually a collaboration between Louise Redknapp and international make-up artist Kim Jacob. I have always admired Louise Redknapp's style, she forever looks polished and has that Jennifer Aniston natural, yet effortless sun-kissed glow that so many of us (myself included) set out to achieve. The Wild About Beauty Safari Nights Palette has all you need to re-create such looks. Inside the tastefully insect adorned (it appears to be a lace pattern until you look closely) sturdy palette you will find 2 powder eyeshadows, 2 cream eyeshadows, two highlighting products, a blush and a lip product along with a great quality mirror. My only criticism would be that the eyeshadow pans are a little small - they fit brushes more than fine but fingertips not so much.

Basically if you enjoy warm neutral or bronze shades you will enjoy this palette - I would deem the Wild About Beauty Safari Nights Palette to be quintessentially constructed of warm toned products but as variety is the spice of life there is three cooler tones additions : two being eyeshadows and the other an all over tint.
Rather than sum the palette up in one quick sweeping statement below is a run down of each product, each of which has been named after one of the creator's family members or friends...pretty cool huh?

Powder Eyeshadow 03 Aine - A bright metallic golden shade that has an orange undertone, buttery soft with great pigmentation.

Powder Eyeshadow 08 Polly - Again a metallic formula but this time around this is slightly less shimmery, Polly is a deep cool toned brown that despite being cool does have a slight golden nuance. Much like above this shade has a soft formula, blends out wonderfully with high colour pay off levels.

Creme Eyeshadow 02 Edna - A cool toned light taupe cream eyeshadow which make great bases for the powder shades. I do recommend a primer with the cream formula's to prevent creasing.

Creme Eyeshadow 03 Buster - This is pretty much the cream version of Aine and preforms the same as Edna.

Multi Purpose Tint 02 Sandra -  A cool toned light cream shimmer product, this gives the skin a light sheen finish and reminds me in terms of texture and finish of NARS Multiples. This has a slippery texture and again to prevent creasing or reduced wear time a primer is a must. You can use this product wherever you wish, I rather like it blended on to the brow bone.

Nutrilips Gloss 02 Sasha - A light glossy nude lip gloss, non-sticky, moisturising and a truly beautiful shade that compliments the eye and blush shades.

Ultra Dewy Glow Stick 02 Benny - A light copper/rose gold cream highlighter that again reminds me of NARS Multiples and again can be used in a variety of ways. I prefer this as a highlighter for my cheekbones and again recommend a primer to stop it slipping or sliding particularly if like myself you have oily skin.

Ultra Sheer Powder Blush in 03 Kitty - Despite being described as sheer this blush has plenty of pigmentation but the beauty of it is that as it is sheer the matte formula never looks heavy or ashen. The sheer formulation allows your skin tone to shine through and gives a beautiful flush of warm coral come nude colour.

On the whole a truly wonderful palette that has products of every nature that allows you to create a whole slew of looks. If you are looking for a great nude/neutral palette to travel with I can not recommend this enough and I for one will be on the look out for other Wild About Beauty Products!
