It has only been in the last few years that I have realised the importance of a separate eye make-up remover. If you want to keep your eyes looking youthful you have to take care of the delicate skin that surrounds the area and that means using products intended for such skin. Newly on the skin care scene is Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover.
When it comes to eye make-up removers I prefer Bi-Phase products as they remove waterproof mascara with ease and anything that can make my life easier particularly at night gets the thumbs up from me. The first thing I noticed about Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover is that it is scent free, typically I don't mind scented products but my eyes are fairly sensitive. The next thing that struck me was how cooling this eye make-up remover is, it instantly cools, refreshes and perks up tired or in my case irritated eyes. Having read a little more into Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover the reason it feels rather wonderful on the eyes is due to the addition of peony extract which is said to cool, soothe and hydrate.
A eye make-up remover that feels great on the skin is all fine and dandy but really we would sacrifice a cooling sensation over excellent cleansing power any day. Luckily for us Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover cleanses brilliantly making light work of waterproof, normal mascara and even heavy eye make-up for that matter. To use I simply lightly soak two cotton pads place over my eyes and gently press down for a few seconds before swiping away mascara and make-up. If like myself you wear quite a few coats of mascara you will have to repeat the process maybe another twice to get rid of everything but I promise it is fairly quick and gentle on the eye area. As this is a Bi-Phase product it does have an oily residue which does wipe clean but may not be everyone particularly is you loathe oily products.
As you can see from the title of this review Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover is a duo purpose product - for lips and eyes and I'm sure a few are wondering who could possibly need a lip product remover. Me that's who! If you wear lip stains of any type you will know how difficult it is to remove the stain particularly if it is red, well a quick swipe of the remover on a cotton pad and your lips will be back to their usual shade. Again much as it is on the eyes this is gentle and no-sting and a great product for riding yourself of Saturday's night heavy clubbing make-up!
P.S how cute is the little cake pop Elemis kindly sent along with the cleanser, too sweet to eat!

Random Fact - At birth, panda cubs typically weigh 4-8oz (100–200g) and measure around 6 inches (15cm) long.
This sounds really good! I like that it leaves eye with a cooling sensation and that is has good cleansing power too! My eyes get pretty tired after a long day in front of the Laptop!
ReplyDeleteBut £19 for a cleanser though is a still a bit steep for me lol! I'm on a tight budget after my splurge on Laser eye surgery haha!
Great review as usual!

While I was reading this review I suddenly thought that I needed a eye make up remover ( I usually use one cleanser for the whole face ) since I have very sensitive eyes, and this could be a good product to try since it is a scent free one :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos bytheway!

I use an eye makeup remover separate to my face cleanser, and find it's so much less harsh. This one sounds really good, I'm always on the hunt for one that removes mascara really easily.
