Beauteco Box June 2013

Unlike other monthly sample box subscription plans Beauteco has three varied boxes each month which you select from to ensure you get the products you are most intrigued by and/or suit your needs. Beauteco have stated that over time the product choice will become more and more varied which does sound promising but essentially in each box there will be 5 products, including 1 or 2 star products and 3 or 4 trial size samples. As you may have noticed the packaging of the Beauteco Box is different to what us beauty box enthusiasts have come to expect , well that is because the box is 100% recyclable and has been created using as little material as possible per box to avoid high carbon materials. Green, tailored to your needs and full of great brands(with a good few full sized products to boot)...I think we are on to a winner!

Beauteco Box June 2013

Organic surgeKiss and Makeup Cleansing Wipes RRP £3.49 (Full Size)

I know some deem facial wipes to be the devil in disguise and I am with you on that if that is what you use for a full cleanse day in day out but for emergencies it really doesn't hurt to have a pack of wet wipes in your handbag. Kiss and MakeUp Wipes are soft yet sturdy wipes that are enriched skin soothing chamomile and lots of natural moisturisers so that should you need to use them you are not drying out your skin and as far as facial wipes go I have to say I am a fan.

Headline Colors Poolside Party Nail Polish RRP £9 (Full Size)

A full sized bright turquoise nail polish which has been formulated without Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde.
You may be familiar with Headline Colors as they were previously known as Killer Colours?
I have reviewed their formula before - link and will say that the formulation is as close to perfect as you can get. Thick yet quite to dry and pretty hard wearing too, Poolside Party will be my go to summer aqua shade.

Amie New Leaf Skin Exfoliating Polish RRP 75ml/ £4.95 (Full Size)

I really enjoy Amie as a skin care brand and swear by their daily defense moisturiser but truthfully I'm not one for exfoliators, I tend to use an electrical face brush a few times a week to buff off dead skin and call it a day. I can say that the New Leaf Skin Exfoliating Polish is a moisturising exfoliate that feels almost like a cream product and according to their site it does contain natural Bamboo Beads and Jojoba Beads to "gently yet effectively cleanse deep into pores whilst smoothing away the dead surface skin cells that can dull the complexion". For the sake of reviewing purposes I tried this out on my hands and have to say it does all it says on the tin and it smells rather pleasant too.

Balance Me Wonder Eye cream RRP 15ml/ £20 (Sample)

Gosh I have lost count to just how many times I have gushed about Balance Me Wonder Eye cream!Basically this eye cream is the best all in one eye product I have ever encountered not only does it help to reduce signs of ageing but it hydrates the delicate skin around the eye, de-puffs and rids of dark circles and if that is not enough it heals too. I know not many of us have cuts near our eyes but if you ever get nicked while getting your brows waxed this is your new bff!
Beauteco Box June 2013

Eve of St Agnes Hydrating facial silk RRP 50ml/ RRP £28 (Sample)

This is the product in the box that didn't intrigue me in the slightest, going from the blurb it seems to be anti-ageing moisturiser that will rejuvenate and add a healthy glow to the skin. I tested a little on my hand and found the formula to be far too thick for my oily skin type and also noticed that it took quite some time to absorb and sat on the surface of my skin . A combination of that and the weird scent has put me off but perhaps it would be better suited to those with dry and/or mature skin?

All in all a really great box ladden full of natural based goodies!
