It doesn't rain but it pours here on The Sunday Girl - you asked for a few snippets of my life as long as they are beauty related in one way or another and today I have delivered...perhaps over indulged haha?
Speaking of indulgent yesterday I had the utter pleasure of visiting the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh which was a first and let me tell you it won't be the last. I normally only pop into the Hard Rock Cafe when abroad namely the one in Gran Canaria or Amsterdam but since there is one closer to home I really have no excuse to go all out next time I have a burger craving!
Myself and Lori spent a good few hours in Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh yesterday munching away until the point of bursting, I kid you not I still feel full as the portions are HUGE! To start we shared Hard Rock Nachos (£9.75) which are colossal in size but an amazing platter of gooey cheeses, fresh salsa and guacamole topped with jalapenos and sour cream. Gut busting yes but so worth it.
Next we ordered burgers I went for the Legendary Burger (£13.99) which is listed as being world renowned and is a feast of a 10.oz burger topped bacon, two slices of Cheddar cheese, a crisp fried onion ring, lettuce, tomato, and gherkins. Utterly scrumptious but don't wear a belt! To wash that all down I spent the evening sipping a Pickled Tink (£6.75) which is a duo of pina colada and strawberry daiquiri - it shouldn't work but it does and I am literally counting down the days until I can order another in Orlando. If you are in Edinburgh you know where to head to and if you don't order a you have sinned my friend, sinned! Oh and while i'm on the subject of cocktails make sure you order the largest size of drink so you can take home the glass as a souvenir.

We of course weren't just in Edinburgh to fill our bellies (not that I would have minded) but we were there to tame our brows - review here and to attend Benefit's newest product launch which is Benefit Stay Flawless Primer 15 hour Primer. The Benefit Stay Flawless was held in Hama in Edinburgh which seems a nice enough space but let's be honest all my focus was on the new Benefit product which is an addition to the Stay Flawless line and has been created not only to work in harmony with the foundation of the same name but any base product to pro-long wear. At the moment I have only began to test Benefit Stay Flawless Primer 15 hour Primer out so I haven't formed any noteworthy opinions as of yet but I can say that it feels light, silky and not as heavy or as silicone based as Benefit The Porefessional. They have very different textures so I can see those who didn't get along with The Porefessional for whatever reason enjoying this but I will test Benefit Stay Flawless Primer 15 hour Primer out over the coming days and post a full review soon. The new primer doesn't launch until the 13th of June so I will give it a good ol' road test before sharing my thoughts.
I promise that this is the last of this weeks personal type beauty posts and reviews etc shall resume tomorrow. Have a great sunny weekend everyone!
Your drinks look delicious!
