MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick

Two red lipsticks in one day, crazy I know but hear me out. This coming weekend I have a 21st birthday party to attend and decided that the only thing that would suffice would be a little black dress and bold, red lips so I ordered MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick and a few dresses from Goddiva in the hope that something would get here in time what with it being a bank holiday weekend. Anyway I have a party dress and more red lipsticks than you can shake a stick at thanks to MAC RiRi Woo also turning up...whoops!

To keep this post short and simple as you will more than likely have had your share of red lipsticks for one day, yes MAC Ruby Woo and MAC RiRi Woo are similar but as I pointed out earlier today that is the point. What I will say is that MAC Ruby Woo isn't as blue toned once on the lips but other than that the two shades are pretty much identical...good job I love the shade then!

Mac Ruby Woo is of course a Retro Matte formula which is easily the most matte lip formula I have ever encountered. As this is truly matte I find that it can tug and pull a little on the lips and has a slightly waxy texture and can cling to dry patches. However what the waxy texture does along the lipstick to fully cling to the lips and wear true for close to four hours, there's not many lipstick formulas you can say that about. Yes it is a little drying but the wear time and beauty of the shade more than compensate for that.

If you missed out on MAC RiRi Woo this is the next best thing!
