It was always going to take something utterly special to make me want to surrender my beloved Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel which as most will know is my go to cleanser and the one I will rave about until the cows come home. However I have found a new contender for the number one spot on my cleansing shelve in Nude's Perfect Cleansing Oil.
Nude Perfect Cleansing Oil is like any other cleansing oil or balm, when applied to the skin it feels like a light oil and is actually quite pleasant to massage into the skin but once it comes into contact with water it emulsifies into a milky cleansing fluid.
With first contact onto the skin Nude's Perfect Cleansing Oil instantly and I mean instantly melts and removes even the heaviest of make-up. I find one to two pumps of product more than enough to efficiently cleanse my face and neck. You apply Nude Perfect Cleansing Oil to dry skin and then remove using water, I find it to work best when teamed with a muslin cloth to really ensure you remove all traces of make up and of course the actual cleansing oil. Like most cleansing oils I do recommend going over you face twice with a clean cloth of some kind as I do find oil products take a little more effort to ensure all traces have been removed.
Nude Perfect Cleansing Oil states that it can be used on both the face and eye areas, I have tested it on my eyes and although it didn't sting it wasn't the most comfortable of experiences. I guess it will all boil down to preferences - I prefer a separate eye make-up remover as I wear waterproof mascara and like to super gentle on my delicate eye area but push come to shove you could use it to remove eye make-up. That aside this is a brilliant cleanser that makes light work of removing all traces of make-up, dirt and excess sebum without being harsh on the skin. I'd go as far as saying that since using Nude Perfect Cleansing Oil my skin has never been softer and I have found myself looking forward to using it at the end of each day.
A big fat thumbs up from me!
Missing shopping the stash on a sunday. I might try this oil when my mac one runs out.x
