Illamasqua Paranormal Collection 2013

Illamasqua are such a brilliant brand aren't they?
It was the S.O.P.H.I.E blush that truly cemented my love for Illamasqua, not only do they create show stopping beautiful products but they have a heart which is hard to find among the beauty world...trust me! Well their newest collection Illamasqua Paranormal really appeals to me as between me and you I have an obsession with all the things that go bump in the night. Most brands would go with a spooky theme come Halloween but not Illamasqua and that is why I applaud them...always thinking outside the box (no pun intended).

The Illamasqua Paranormal range is said to feature an array of unexpected textures and formula's such as the New Paranormal Palette (£34) which is said to be a unique water-resistant eye shadow formula that features a silky consistency and contain a spherical fine particle silicone, which ensures ease of use and long-wearing hold Within the palette you will find the following shades: Paranormal (cerise), Aura (warm copper), Possession (cool green) and Trance (soft violet), contain a spherical fine particle silicone, which ensures ease of use and long-wearing hold.

The collection will also include three nail polishes (£15 each): Omen (bright green), Ouija (bright pink) and Séance (bright violet). Oh but it gets better the Paranormal also includes anew UV Top Coat (£13) which can be used over any nail varnish to give a pretty funky effect under a UV Black Light.

For those that enjoy a good lipstick or two there will be two new shades to choose from a light lilac mauve which has been dubbed Posture and a light taupe which is a nice spin on a nude, for the timing being I don't have the name of the second shade but will update as soon as I do.

But that is not all the collection will also include New Hydra Veil (£27.50) is a first from the brand as it acts as part hydrator and part primer and is in the form of a self-levelling gel. Apparently it has been created to enhance make-up application through skin re-hydration for an optimal base. I don't know about you but I am more than intrigued, doesn't that sound revolutionary?

Last but not least there will also be a New Precision Gel Liner (£18) - potted black liquid liner and New Gleam in Supernatural (£18) a new lightweight warm golden bronze highlighter.

Luckily there is only a week to go until Illamasqua's Paranormal collection launches and let me say I am literally crossing off the days until the 30th of April!
