Newly launched this month is three limited edition versions of DKNY's Be Delicious fragrance family and with pop art very much having a moment once more what cooler artist to collaborate with than Keith Harring. Keith Haring is began to draw in white chalk over the black paper used to cover vacant advertising panel in various Subway stops in NYC. His work is synonymous with New York City much like DKNY so the joint venture is oh so fitting and dare I say it one of DKNY's best art collaborations to date!
I know that some may believe that the new DKNY Be Delicious Art Fragrances are simply the original scent re-packaged well let me be the first to shatter that illusion as they are very much different. Now don't get me wrong they share some of the original and well know notes that we recognize to be DKNY Be Delicious but with a fruitier and cleaner edge.
Take for instance DKNY Be Delicious Art which in it's original form is a true, crisp green apple scent well you still have that as the underlying base but this time around it is combined with light and dewy floral notes for the perfect spring scent. Best put it smells familiar but not identical to the original version. DKNY Fresh Blossom Art this time around has been given a softer edge with notes of freesia, magnolia, rose but shaken alive by the addition of cassis and pink grapefruit. It is really feminine and not at all powdery with I find the original Be Delicious Blossom to be. Last but not least we have DKNY Golden Delicious Art which is the freshest out of all three which I did not expect - is a complex blend of exotic fruits which include mango and raspberry combined with gardenia, muguet, apple and orange blossom. Imagine a warm summers day spent in the back garden with freshly washed laundry and you have the general idea.
I have DKNY Fresh Blossom Art and truly enjoy the new spin not only is the limited edition Keith Harring Art work a lovely touch but the new notes to the scent really perk up what I deemed a flat floral scent in the past. If you like fruity yet non-tart fragrances I urge you to try out DKNY Fresh Blossom Art, I need the other two in my life as having smelt all three I have decided my life will be incomplete without the trio. Greedy yes but I'm willing to bet that should you test out the new DKNY Be Delicious Art range you will feel the same! If you like the art work but not so much the Be Delicious scent family the original DKNY scent has also been given a new lease of life complete with Keith Harring art work.

Random Fact - In 1988, Keith Haring discovered that he had AIDS. The next year he created the Keith Haring Foundation to support AIDS organizations and children’s programs. AIDS would later claim his life in 1990.
Ahh if only you could 'scratch and sniff' from the computer lol
