Photo of Monthly Favourites February 2013

I'm not entirely happy with how quickly this year seems to be going by, it is now only a little over a month until my birthday and that means I'm a whole year older...gulp.
While I grapple with the concept of age let me share a few of my favourite things from the past month.

No I didn't expect to fall in love with a sheer/light base either but Revlon truly have knocked the ball out of the park with this new base. If BB Creams and/or tinted moisturisers don't offer enough coverage for you
or you simply want a lighter base then I can not sing the praises of Revlon Nearly Naked foundation enough.
It evens skin tone, hides light acne marks and allows the skin to breathe, what is not to like?
A summer make-up bag staple in the making if you ask me.

Photo of NARS Bronzer in Casino

This month I have been forgoing blush in favour of a bronze glow and to achieve that I have been reaching for my trusty NARS Bronzer in Casino. Not only does it add a sweep of colour to my complexion but as it is matte it is perfect for contouring the face. If you didn't get on with Laguna I highly recommend trying out Casino, it is close to becoming my holy grail bronzer.

You have £4 to spare? Great get your little butt to your nearest Superdrug (or order online if like me your Superdrug is rubbish) and pick up MUA's newest eyeshadow palette - Undress Me Too!
Twelve neutral shades that are all beautifully pigmenetd and a pleasure to work with . It is easy to see why this little palette is giving Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette a run for it's money

Photo of Clarins Double Serum

At the moment other than my old and trusted skin care favourites not much has impressed me in terms of skincare well other than Clarins Double Serum that is. Although this serum is oil based my oily skin has been lapping it up and looks fresher, feels softer and my skin tone is now even which wasn't the case a few weeks ago. If you are looking for something to shake up your skin care routine and want fresh, softer skin that glows this is the product to go for.

I have tried countless sleep aimed products to help relax and coax myself to switching off at night and nothing seems to work for me quite like Avon Sleeptherapy Goodnight Pillow Mist. I have went through countless bottles over the years and to be frank bed time just isn't bed time without a couple of sprays of this dreamy scent.

I have spoken about my love for Kringle Candles a few times over the last few weeks and I can hand on heart say that since finding this company it's a case of Yankee who.
Kringle Day Light Candles are small but mighty and scent my entire home, not bad for a candle that costs less than £3. My current favourite is Honeydew Melon but i'm oddly considering purchasing the Halloween scents even though it is only March...who ever said I was normal?
