New MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer Photo

After a disappearing act from the MUA stands MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer is back re-packaged and looking better than ever. Admittedly I am a little confused to why it has a new sticker slapped on it as reading up on my thoughts about the MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer the first time around it does not seem to be re-formulated. Of course not having an older version to compare the new tube to does hinder the comparison process so if you have both I would love to hear your findings.

So yes new packaging which to my eye has a really sleek, professional and almost clinical feel...I like it MUA and hope to see the white packaging completely replace the old black style as time goes on.
Other than that you have a typical doe foot applicator that may not be my favourite type of applicator but for all intent and purposes it does the job.
Personally I like to dab on the MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer using the in-built doe foot sponge onto my eyelids then blend it in further using my ring fingers.

The primer itself is thick but easy to apply and slightly tinted (nude/light skin tone shade) so not only does it provide a base to apply eyeshadow on top off but it will also even out the tone of your eye lids too, on deeper skin tones the tint will just blend down to transparent.
Personally I don't find sticky the MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer to be sticky and have found that it dries quickly. Unlike some primers I have tried this doesn't feel heavy nor can you detect the silicone's - I've tested some in the past that flake or when you attempt to really distribute them into the skin the bobble (form little round balls of product).Instead I have found it to help prolong the wear of both eyeshadow and liners by a good 4 or more hours and it doesn't crease or flake throughout the day, others may experience a better wear time but my oily skin and eyelids significantly alter wear times.
To some degree I would say that the primer does intensify the shade of any eye product applied on top yet
I wouldn't quite put it on par with the likes of Urban Decay or Too Face eye primers
but for the price it is pretty unbeatable and great product to purchase.
I do like this primer but don't feel it would be the best choice for humid or hot situations/type weather
but for everyday weather and use it is a great little buy given the price.

The new MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer has yet to sneak on to their own web store but is avaliabe from Superdrug £2.50/7.5ml - link
